Best of E3 2009
The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, is an annual trade show for the video games industry. In the past years I didn’t follow up on E3 that much, only just the big announcements once E3 was over. This year was different, though. Mostly thanks to the great live coverage done by Giant Bomb. Being able to see entertaining videos of the daily interviews and trailers; going through and keeping up with all the E3 coverage was a blast! One thing became very obvious to me however, our industry loves sequels. More than half of the announcements made were sequels, original titles are very few and far between.
Needless to say, there were some awesome announcements made (both in games and technology) for all platforms alike. So what were my favorites? I’ve compiled a small list of my top five games from E3 2009, each with their respective description and trailer. Were there any announcements on E3 that you really enjoyed?
